What Does It Cost?
I don’t watch the clock when I design books, so I don’t charge by the hour. Instead, I charge by the project.
I also don’t charge for communication with my clients.
I’m available to talk, text, or email whenever an author needs to discuss something with me about an ongoing project.
Every author needs to make some revisions and corrections during the formatting and design process. That is a given, so I don’t charge for those fairly minor changes. I work with the author to edit the material during the design process.
(I do add an hourly charge if after formatting has begun, the author wishes to make major revisions, additions, or corrections. See hourly rate below.)
Project Fees
Included in these fees is assistance with the following: procuring ISBNs, LCCNs, and barcodes, assistance with opening and maintaining online accounts, assistance with uploading book files, and ongoing communication and consultation via email, text, and/or phone calls.

(I request a $200 deposit after we agree to work together.)

Hourly Rate
I charge $45.00 an hour for additional work after the project has been completed or for major changes, revisions, or assistance beyond the normal requirements and expectations during the design process .
